Job description
This Band 6 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist opportunity is built around supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.
Role overview
These roles will be in the Swindon area providing Speech and Language therapy services. To be successful in this role you MUST have at least 2 years’ experience working exclusively with a pediatric population.
Main responsibilities
supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. Able to support learners with patience and structure. The SaLT will provide interventions as required including classroom work, 1:1 therapy, small groups, assessments, reviews, resources and support, and upskilling of staff.
Requirements
- Recent Speech and Language Therapy experience of at least 24 months.
- This is a specialist primary school for pupils with SEMH needs. There is a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) with 8 pupils and the main school with 52 pupils, all with EHCPs.
- You must be willing to register with our agency fully.
Job details
- 1 day per week, maybe some ad hoc shifts too.
- Pulse AHP’s Speech and Language Therapy Team is currently recruiting an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join the team for a full-time role based in the Swin.
