What the role involves
- Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients with mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Support workers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, occupational therapists.
- Monitoring progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Educate clients and their families/caregivers on self-management techniques and exercises for continued improvement.
Skills and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.
- Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Previous experience working in mental health or rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
