Band 6 Senior Community nurse

As a Band 6 Senior Community nurse, the work centres on managing a varied caseload, completing specialist assessments, care planning and ongoing reviews. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.

Who the work supports

Medacs Healthcare has over 30 years' experience supporting mental health professionals across the UK. You'll manage your own caseload, contribute to effective risk management and support recovery, independence and wellbeing through person‑centred care.

How support shows up

Managing a varied caseload, completing specialist assessments, care planning and ongoing reviews. Communicate sensitively with service users, carers and partner organisations. Delivering brief, evidence‑based interventions, including psychologically informed and/or pharmacological approaches.

What needs to be in place

• Post‑registration experience working with adults with mental health needs.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
• Registered RMN / Occupational Therapist / Social Worker (NMC / HCPC / SWE).
