Bank Ophthalmology Diagnostic Technician | Spire Shawfair Park, Edinburgh | Weekly pay Spire Shawfair Park Hospital in Edinburgh has an exciting opportunity for an Ophthalmology Diagnostic Technician to join their experienced and dynamic team, on a bank basis. Deliver and maintain high professional standards of ophthalmic imaging and diagnostic services to patients by performing, verifying and recording results of a specialist clinical diagnostic imaging service Responsible for the safe use of specialist equipment and adhere to the health and safety policies Maintain patient confidentiality at all times Ensure environment and equipment is clean, fit for purpose and ready to use The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within an ophthalmic clinical setting Previous ophthalmic diagnostic experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided, a keen desire to learn is required Ability to work independently and within the time constraints of a busy clinic to ensure optimal patient flow Excellent verbal and communication skills and be able to pay close attention to detail Be comfortable with Microsoft office and computerised systems for data input and review A passion for customer service Bank colleagues are paid weekly We offer competitive rates to our bank colleagues who work on a flexible basis, often to cover busy periods, sickness or annual leave Free Car Parking Free uniform
