What the role involves

  • Support service including all elements of personal care and hygiene, while maintaining independence and dignity at all times.
  • Ensure the social support of residents – e.g., encouraging/facilitating their interests and meaningful activities.

Skills and requirements

  • Assist where required in resident’s health and well-being including nutrition, medication/creams, mobility, shopping/health appointments and supporting/welcome their visitors.
  • Write notes and messages – numeracy, literacy and verbal skills.
  • Communicate with people with differing communication needs.
  • Adapts style and approach appropriate to situation or task.

Confirmed role details

  • Hourly rate: £12.43 per hour, plus enhancements for weekend working.
  • £12.43 - £12.43 Time Type.
