What the role involves
- Maintain their hobbies and interests to the best of their ability, as well as encouraging them to develop new interests.
- To create a stimulating and varied programme of activities and social events for residents.
- Work with residents to produce material for quarterly newsletters and share information for social media and relatives.
- Plan events inside and outside of the home (e.g.
- Exercise sessions, theatre productions, pet therapy, etc.).
- Keeping full records of all activities undertaken, reviewing and gathering feedback to assess effectiveness.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator or within the care sector is beneficial but not essential.
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.

- £13.00 per hour.
- Applicants must hold a full UK driving license and be 25 years or older for insurance purposes.
