Behaviour Mentor — Alternative Pathways & Inclusion Support focuses on providing 1:1 behaviour mentoring for students within the inclusion base.
What the role involves
- Providing 1:1 behaviour mentoring for students within the inclusion base.
- Delivering small group interventions focusing on emotional regulation, self-awareness, and social skills.
- Supporting students during reintegration into mainstream lessons.
- Supporting students during moments of emotional distress or dysregulation.
- Supporting restorative conversations and reflection following incidents.
- Upholding safeguarding procedures and maintaining professional boundaries.
Skills and requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural challenges.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
- Inclusion base, PRU, or alternative provision experience.
Confirmed role details
- £90–£120 per day (dependent on experience).
- Full-time, long-term, term-time only.

- As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support pupils who find it challenging to manage their behaviour, emotions, or engagement within a mainstream school environment.
- Be to provide stability, structure, and consistent adult support, helping students rebuild confidence.
