As a Behaviour Mentor in Primary, Nursery, the work centres on leading small group interventions focusing on social skills, self-regulation, and emotional literacy. It would suit someone who can bring confidence delivering behaviour interventions and tracking outcomes to the role.
What the work leans on
Support pupils within Nursery, Reception, and Key Stage 1 classrooms. Deliver 1:1 emotional and behavioural support for pupils with additional needs.
Where the technical work sits
- Leading small group interventions focusing on social skills, self-regulation, and emotional literacy.
- Supporting behaviour management during playtimes, lunchtimes, and other unstructured periods.
- Observe, assess, and record pupil behaviour, and report outcomes.
Technical requirements
- Experience working in Primary, Nursery, or EYFS settings.
- Knowledge of SEND, SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or attachment-informed practice.
- Relevant childcare, early years, or classroom-support experience.
