Behaviour Mentor — Secondary SEMH & Pastoral Support (North London) focuses on providing one-to-one mentoring for students with behavioural and semh needs.
What the role involves
- Providing one-to-one mentoring for students with behavioural and SEMH needs.
- Supporting students with ADHD, anxiety, trauma-related behaviours, and emotional dysregulation.
- Delivering targeted interventions focused on behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing.
- Supporting students within lessons to promote focus and positive behaviour.
- De-escalating challenging situations using calm, restorative strategies.
- Working closely with pastoral leads, SEN staff, and safeguarding teams.
Skills and requirements
- Enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references are required.

- Has experience working with adolescents or vulnerable young people.
