Behaviour Mentor — Secondary SEMH & Pastoral Support (North London) focuses on providing one-to-one mentoring for students with behavioural and semh needs.

What the role involves

  • Providing one-to-one mentoring for students with behavioural and SEMH needs.
  • Supporting students with ADHD, anxiety, trauma-related behaviours, and emotional dysregulation.
  • Delivering targeted interventions focused on behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing.
  • Supporting students within lessons to promote focus and positive behaviour.
  • De-escalating challenging situations using calm, restorative strategies.
  • Working closely with pastoral leads, SEN staff, and safeguarding teams.

Skills and requirements

  • Enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references are required.
