Job description
As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
How the role is set up
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Where someone would start
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects to maintain learning continuity. Building strong, trusting relationships with students to improve engagement and confidence.
What is expected
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
- This rewarding role is ideal for candidates who want to build experience in SEN, behaviour mentoring, psychology, youth work, or education, while making a genuine difference to pup.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
Job details
- Level 2 Safeguarding & Keeping Children Safe in Education.
- Full Time, Monday to Friday, Term time, 08:15-15:00.
