As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on monitoring and report on student progress and behaviour. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Who the work supports

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support students in schools across the Thrapston area. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for working with young people who may present challenging behaviour or have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

How support shows up

Monitoring and report on student progress and behaviour. Supporting students both in and out of the classroom. Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural needs.

What needs to be in place

  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural needs, is desirable.
  • Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
