The Behaviour Support Assistant position centres on we’re working with a school in South Shields looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs, helping them feel understood, settled, and ready to learn. It would suit someone who can bring helping manage behaviour in a calm, consistent way to the role.

What needs to be in place
- All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
Job details
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- Weekly PAYE pay, ongoing CPD, and a team that’s got your back.
- Additional detail: Weekly pay may be available.
