BIM Technician

BIM Technician focuses on actively assist with the development of proav’s bim strategy with the senior technical manager and senior bim technician, including setup of templates, drawing sheet borders and sp.

What the role involves

• Actively assist with the development of proAV’s BIM strategy with the senior technical manager and senior BIM technician, including setup of templates, drawing sheet borders and sp.
• Setup the Revit model with the correct origin and orientation given in the BEP.
• Produce BIM models to Level of detail (LOD) and Information (LOI) as per the project BEP.
• Follow the file naming and object naming convention as per the project BEP.
• Generate clash reports using the approved project software, be this Navisworks, Revizto or similar.
• Assist with the coordination and resolution process to produce a clash free model.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Hours per week, hours a day, , including an hour unpaid break, Monday-Friday.
