BMS Commissioning Engineer
BMS Commissioning Engineer focuses on coordinate, and complete bms installations within set timescales and budgetary constraints.
What the role involves
- Coordinate, and complete BMS installations within set timescales and budgetary constraints.
- Conduct thorough functional testing and verification of BMS components and software.
- Assisting the project team in developing critical documentation and software, including DOPs, plant/point schedules, network designs, and controller software.
- Resolve complex technical issues encountered during the commissioning process.
- Provide project engineering and management for small to medium-sized projects, managing single or multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Skills and requirements
- Candidates must be located within a comfortable travelling distance of Slough, West Drayton, or Hayes.
- Full UK driving licence, PC literacy, and a valid CSCS skill card (or equivalent).
- Remuneration: A highly competitive salary plus a generous bonus scheme with the potential to earn up to 25% of your basic salary.
- Ownership & Pension: Opportunity to become part of the Employee Ownership scheme after 12 months, alongside a 6% contributory pension.
Candidate fit
- Technical Expertise: Primary technical knowledge of Schneider Eco.
- Experience with Tridium or ALC is advantageous, though training is available.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the building controls industry and a solid understanding of mechanical plant.
