Bodyshop Technician focuses on carry out vehicle repairs safely and efficiently.

What the role involves

• Carry out vehicle repairs safely and efficiently.
• Ensure risk assessments are in place before work begins.
• Complete repairs with careful consideration of cost and time.
• Maintaining full regard for the safety of the public, colleagues, and yourself.
• Undertake repair work as directed by your Foreman/Supervisor.
• Reporting any changes made to vehicles or equipment to your Line Manager.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• A salary of £38,000-£42,000 (dependent on experience).
• Our Colas Pension Scheme has combined contributions of up to 10%.
• Life Assurance Scheme which is x4 basic salary.
• 21 days annual leave per year + Public Holidays.

Candidate fit

• A qualified and experienced Body Shop Technician with an NVQ Level III or City & Guilds qualification and a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
