Branch Manager

The Branch Manager position with Howden for many different reasons centres on our collective power is also helping us to change the insurance narrative – doing right by our clients while using insurance as a tool to build resilience for individuals, business. It would suit someone who can bring from pro bono work to insuring COVID-19 vaccine development to de-risking the carbon market, we’re using our skills, knowledge, and networks to make a difference and speed positive to the role.

As a Branch Manager you will be responsible for your own profit & loss, with the freedom to seek out new business opportunities and the support to grow your branch. You understand the importance of working collaboratively with your team to deliver results.

What needs to be in place

• Be commercially minded, with the ability to analyse data and make evidence-based decisions whilst maintaining attention to detail.
• As such you will have excellent experience and understanding of Personal Lines and/or Commercial.
• Be a great communicator who will share knowledge, experience and best practices.

Job details

• 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), increasing through length of service.
• Besides the usual adjustments such as software, IT, and office setups, we can also accommodate other changes such as flexible hours* or hybrid working.
• Work model: Hybrid.
