Skills and requirements

• Academics Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced individual who has the knowledge and are qualified in British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or 3.
• Consists of working closely with the SEND provision in order to provide support for children in classrooms with hearing impairment.
• The school is based in Birmingham and they require the BSL Teaching Assistant to be able to commit to this role on a Full Time basis.
• PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU KNOW BSL AS THIS IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE CHILDREN.

Confirmed role details

• Have a minimum of a Level 2 in Sign Language, however, candidates with a lower level of qualification and a high level of experience in using British Sign Language will also be con.
