Broker Back Up Technician

Broker Back Up Technician focuses on processing coverholder applications, and liaise with the claims team to resolve any issues or queries that arise.

What the role involves

• Processing Coverholder applications, and liaise with the claims team to resolve any issues or queries that arise.
• Preparing premium bordereaux and monthly lineslip declarations, and you will regularly use systems including Atlas, , PPL, Lineage and AIF, as well as the A&S platforms used on a dai.
• Additionally, you will maintain oversight of all binder renewals.
• Need to befortable working in a busy environment where you will manage a varied workload throughout the day.

Skills and requirements

• Review performance, issue renewal notices and send follow‑upmunications where required.
• Alongside this, you will carry out general administrative duties and keep accurate, well‑organised records that can be presented to senior management when required.
• To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of two years' experience in a broker backup or similar technical role within a Lloyd’s broker.
• Strong all‑round broker support experience is essential, as is confidence with IT systems, particularly Brokasure.
