This Care Assistant opportunity is built around we have an opportunity for people that can use BSL (British Sign Language) to support deaf members of our community. It would suit someone who can bring patience, clear communication, and respectful care standards to the role.
Role overview
We tailor care plans around each individual, offering 24-hour support, nutritious meals, meaningful social and therapeutic activities, and a warm home-like atmosphere. At Ashmere, we’ve been supporting communities in Derbyshire for three generations with a proud heritage in elder care.
Main responsibilities
We have an opportunity for people that can use BSL (British Sign Language) to support deaf members of our community. We want you to bring a passion for helping elderly deaf residents maintain an independent lifestyle.

Handling shift-by-shift responsibilities with consistency and care. Strong professional approach.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or working towards.
Job details

- Need to have experience of administrating medication and possess or be willing to work towards your NVQ3 qualification.
