Building Fabric Maintenance Operative focuses on delivering a wide range of civils, carpentry, plumbing and building fabric maintenance across the site.

What the role involves

• Delivering a wide range of civils, carpentry, plumbing and building fabric maintenance across the site.
• Supervise PPM and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring schedules, standards, and budgets are met.
• Overseeing subcontractors and internal teams, ensuring safe and efficient site operations.
• Promote a strong safety-first culture, complying with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
• Conduct routine site audits and spot checks to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Supporting the operation and maintenance of key facilities, including the training centre, visitor centre, and administrative buildings.

Skills and requirements

• Background in one or more of the following: carpentry, plumbing, civils, or building maintenance.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance and management systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and strong organisational skills.
