Building Maintenance/Painter focuses on the department provides for the care and welfare of animals in experimental research and in doing so we support the scientific community across the university.

What the role involves

• The department provides for the care and welfare of animals in experimental research and in doing so we support the scientific community across the University.
• In this role, you’ll carry out a wide range of maintenance and decorative tasks across our Biomedical Services facilities.
• From installing fixtures and fittings to refreshing laboratories and corridors with new paintwork and occasionally support the engineering team with fire alarm testing and contract.
• Your work will directly support world-class research and teaching.

• This employment is full-time, permanent, 36.5 hours per week.
• We are advertising this post as a full-time position.
• An excellent contributory pension scheme.
