A new opportunity has arisen for a motivated Business Development Executive to join a leading name in the premium FMCG sector, partnering with some of the UK’s most recognisable retail brands.


About the company:

A trusted brand of convenience products for shoppers' convenience and to boost sales for retailers.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Business Development Executive will be responsible for managing and growing a premium FMCG client portfolio across the Midlands and East Anglia regions.
  • Account management (80%) and new business development (20%)
  • Developing trusted partnerships with decision-makers including store managers to purchasing teams.
  • Identify growth opportunities, implement effective sales strategies, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.
  •  Regular territory travel to maintain face-to-face relationships with existing clients.
  • Developing new business opportunities within the geographical area.


Experience & Skills needed:

  • Minimum two years' sales experience within the FMCG sector
  • Proven track record in account management and business development.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach
  • Able to build enduring relationships founded on trust and reliability.


Benefits:

  • Basic salary £26-28k
  • Uncapped commission, OTE £45k+
