What the role involves

  • Identifying and developing new opportunities aligned to pump and fluid handling solutions.
  • Targeting and growing market share within Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Building strong relationships with customers, consultants, and key decision-makers.
  • Maximising revenue from existing accounts while developing new client opportunities.
  • Supporting tendering and quotation activity to progress opportunities through the pipeline.
  • Ensuring a high standard of aftermarket support and service delivery.

Skills and requirements

  • Be a commercially focused business development professional with experience selling technical or engineered solutions into regulated or process-driven industries.
  • Experience in pump solutions, fluid handling, or engineered equipment sales.
  • 5+ years' experience in business development or technical sales roles.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.

Candidate fit

  • commercial awareness, confident communication, follow-through, and resilience with customers or clients

Additional role context

  • Proven exposure to Food & Beverage and/or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Confidence operating within complex, specification-led sales cycles.
