As a Business Teacher, the work centres on plan and deliver high-quality Business lessons at KS4–KS5, aligned to current specifications. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Role overview

The school educates around 900 pupils (11–18) and is known for high academic standards, excellent pastoral care, and extensive enrichment. A prestigious independent day school in Wiltshire is seeking an outstanding Business Teacher to join from January 2026.

Main responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Business lessons at KS4–KS5, aligned to current specifications. Maintaining a purposeful classroom culture with high expectations for behaviour and achievement. Use assessment for learning, feedback, and data-informed intervention to secure excellent progress.

Requirements

  • QTS/PGCE and experience teaching KS4 and/or KS5.
  • (Optional) Ability to teach Economics beneficial but not essential.
  • Evidence of impactful teaching and strong behaviour management.
