CAD Engineer

CAD Engineer focuses on supporting the cleansing, validation, and migration of engineering data from pdm into siemens teamcenter plm.

What the role involves

• Supporting the cleansing, validation, and migration of engineering data from PDM into Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Review CAD files, metadata, part structures, and associated technical documentation.
• Resolve data inconsistencies prior to migration.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and PLM stakeholders throughout the migration process.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, naming conventions, and documentation requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records of migration progress, issues, and resolutions.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience in a CAD Engineer, CAD Administrator, or similar technical engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter and SolidWorks.
• Understanding of CAD file structures, metadata, and product lifecycle processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large technical datasets.

Confirmed role details

• 2 days Onsite per week.
• Hourly rate: £17.79 – £30.26 PAYE.
