CAD Technician focuses on producing 3d models and detailed fabrication drawings for structural steelwork and architectural metalwork.

What the role involves

• Producing 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings for structural steelwork and architectural metalwork.
• Working closely with project and operational teams to deliver drawings in line with project specifications and programme requirements.
• Reviewing and assessing technical specifications to ensure compliance with end product requirements.
• Preparing accurate fabrication and manufacturing drawings for workshop production.
• Maintaining accurate logging and control of technical information and drawing revisions.
• Liaising with fabrication shops and production teams to support manufacturing activities.

Confirmed role details

• Be responsible for the 3D modelling and detailing of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork across a range of engineering projects within sectors including defence, power.
• Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00.
• Friday: 08:30 – 14:30.
• Pension Contributions.
