Capture Manager focuses on managing the requirements for the capture of new business opportunities.

What the role involves

  • Managing the requirements for the capture of new business opportunities.
  • Develop bid strategies and concepts of operation.
  • Managing the full bid process including work breakdown structure and technical solution development.
  • Managing relationship’s with the client ensuring clear lines of communications are established and that their requirements are fully understood.
  • Leading Cost Estimation & Pricing processes and submit for approval.
  • Work with the Design & Engineering team during the bid lifecycle to coordinate inputs to the technical bid solution.

Skills and requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 3 years’ experience in a Bid.
  • Experienced in developing bids and managing the process to bid submission.
  • A proven track record for delivering small bids (£500K – £2M) and larger bids (£5M – £50M).
  • Good project management skills to manage key bids to service delivery.
