What the role involves
- As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion.
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life.
- Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
- Assisting with moving and handling residents using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Supporting the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
Skills and requirements
- Deliver high-quality care to our residents.
- Respectful to not only residents but the values and beliefs of other team members.
- Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
