Care Assistant
Job description
The Care Assistant position centres on supporting the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.
Who the work supports
Bannview House is a modern, purpose-built Nursing Home supporting up to 80 residents. We’re always on the look out for people who care, whether that’s caring for our residents, or in one of our roles like laundry, kitchen, administration or maintenance.
How support shows up
Supporting the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life. Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.

Strong professional approach.
What needs to be in place
- Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
- Respectful to not only residents but the values and beliefs of other team members.
