Care Assistant focuses on in this role, you will provide full support with all aspects of daily living for a young person with complex health needs, including epilepsy, developmental delay and neurological.
What the role involves
- In this role, you will provide full support with all aspects of daily living for a young person with complex health needs, including epilepsy, developmental delay and neurological.
- Assisting with personal care, bathing, dressing and continence management, as well as supporting with a pureed diet and maintaining strict infection control procedures due to a hig.
- Ensure a consistent daily routine, including a calming bath after school and a structured bedtime routine.
- Support them during the school week, helping them engage and participate.
- Work closely with their family to ensure safe and consistent care.
- Support communication needs as they are non-verbal but have good understanding, and encourage participation in activities they enjoy.
Skills and requirements
- Experience working with Epilepsy and seizure management.
- Keen to help promote independence of our client.

- Days (7:30 am - 4 pm) and Nights (10 pm - 6 am).
