What the role involves

• Companionship- spending quality time with your client, and being a friendly, familiar face.
• Home Help/ Meal Preparation – assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, cooking simple meal or prepare their ready meals.
• Medication Support – reminding or assisting with taking medications.
• Personal Hygiene – supporting with dressing, undressing, toileting and bathing.
• Getting Out and About – accompanying them to the shops, a café, garden centre, or just a walk for fresh air.

Skills and requirements

• Skill set for a Care Assistant.
• Build relationships with clients in a friendly manner.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Flexibility for alternative weekend.

Confirmed role details

• £14 p/h - Enhanced rate on weekend and BH.
• Minimum 1 hour visit- time to care and connect.
• Paid training, client introduction and shadowing visits.
• EAP- 24/7 confidential consultation service.
