What the role involves
- Companionship- spending quality time with your client, and being a friendly, familiar face.
- Home Help/ Meal Preparation – assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, cooking simple meal or prepare their ready meals.
- Medication Support – reminding or assisting with taking medications.
- Personal Hygiene – supporting with dressing, undressing, toileting and bathing.
- Getting Out and About – accompanying them to the shops, a café, garden centre, or just a walk for fresh air.
Skills and requirements
- Skill set for a Care Assistant.
- Build relationships with clients in a friendly manner.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Flexibility for alternative weekend.
Confirmed role details
- £14 p/h - Enhanced rate on weekend and BH.
- Minimum 1 hour visit- time to care and connect.
- Paid training, client introduction and shadowing visits.
