What the role involves

• Supporting for older adults, including people living with dementia.
• Supporting the care team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans.
• Assisting residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and nutrition.
• Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the care environment.

Skills and requirements

• Possess strong leadership skills, experience working as a senior care assistant, and a compassionate approach to supporting residents and colleagues.
• NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or above.
