Care Assistant focuses on supporting for older adults, including people living with dementia.
What the role involves
- Supporting for older adults, including people living with dementia.
- Supporting the care team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans.
- Assisting residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and nutrition.
- Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the care environment.
Skills and requirements
- Possess strong leadership skills, experience working as a senior care assistant, and a compassionate approach to supporting residents and colleagues.
- NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or above.
