- Employee's need to ensure they fully understand their safeguarding responsibility.
- Develop their understand and skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care.
- Employee's need to ensure that adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control.
- Ensure that the safeguarding and whistle blowing policies are adhered too at all time.
Skills and requirements
- Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or care certificate. However all training is providing so these are desirable not essential.
- Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
Confirmed role details
- As a Senior Care Assistant, you would also be responsible for the medication round, as well as leading the shift.
