What the role involves
- Support the team during each shift, promoting a positive culture and acting as a professional role model.
- Coordinating daily operations, including plans, activities, appointments and budgets, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the shift.
- Overseeing and complete all required documentation, digital logs and audits, reviewing and signing off records completed by the team.
- Maintaining safety and compliance by escalating health and safety concerns, monitoring medication procedures and ensuring policies are followed.
- Ensure accurate reporting and follow-up of incidents, behaviour logs, safeguarding concerns and post-incident debriefs.
- Act as a senior member of the team, advocating for and supporting the continuous development of the home, role modelling best practice in care.
Skills and requirements
- Undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Confirmed role details
- £28,448.89 - £32,163.86 (depending on sleep + experience).

Candidate fit
- Level 2 Adult Care Worker Qualification or equivalent is desirable (Adult’s only).
- Level 4 Diploma – Children, Young People & Families Practitioner is essential. (Children’s only).
- Previous experience in a care role in a senior/team leader/supervisory capacity.
