The Care Assistant position centres on full training is provided, including specialist training from epilepsy nurses who oversee her clinical care. It would suit someone who can bring helping maintain a safe, calm, and positive home environment to the role.
Role overview
You will support her with all aspects of daily living, including:Personal care. What you’ll doAs a Complex Care Assistant, you will be part of a small, dedicated team supporting a cheerful, engaging young woman in her late 20s who lives in her beautifully adap.
Main responsibilities
Full training is provided, including specialist training from epilepsy nurses who oversee her clinical care. Working closely with her family and support team, you will help enable her to live a meaningful and fulfilling life while providing a consistently high standard of care in a friend. Be part of a supportive team environment with ongoing supervision and guidance from an experienced care manager.

Requirements
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including nights.
- Ideally, previous experience supporting people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and/or complex epilepsy (though not essential as full training is provided).
- A genuine passion for supporting people with complex needs.
