What the role involves

• Provide individualized support and assistance to children with epilepsy and special needs during school hours.
• Administer feeds and medications as per prescribed guidelines, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children.
• Supporting children in their daily activities, including personal care routines, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Foster positive relationships with the children, promoting their social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care.
• Assisting with the supervision of school trips, ensuring a safe and inclusive experience for all children.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience working with children with epilepsy and special needs is highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of epilepsy and its impact on children’s daily lives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children and colleagues.
• Ability to provide compassionate care and emotional support to children with diverse needs.
