Care Assistant focuses on be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child with cerebral palsy and global developmental delay, to support him to reach his full potent.
What the role involves
- Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child with cerebral palsy and global developmental delay, to support him to reach his full potent.
- Delivering care in line with the care plan which includes tracheostomy management.
- Care of the ventilated child, daily suctioning and gastrostomy care.
- Be supported by Advantage Healthcare London branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings.
- A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs.
- Supporting with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.
Skills and requirements
- The following is essential to be eligible for an interview.
- Experience working in a complex care setting.
- Experience in tracheostomy & gastrostomy care.
- Experience of looking after a ventilated child.
