Care Assistant focuses on be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child with cerebral palsy and global developmental delay, to support him to reach his full potent.

What the role involves

• Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child with cerebral palsy and global developmental delay, to support him to reach his full potent.
• Delivering care in line with the care plan which includes tracheostomy management.
• Care of the ventilated child, daily suctioning and gastrostomy care.
• Be supported by Advantage Healthcare London branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings.
• A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs.
• Supporting with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.

Skills and requirements

• The following is essential to be eligible for an interview.
• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience in tracheostomy & gastrostomy care.
• Experience of looking after a ventilated child.
