Care Assistant focuses on we are seeking a compassionate complex care assistant to support a lovely 11-year-old boy with cerebral palsy in his family home.

What the role involves

• We are seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a lovely 11-year-old boy with cerebral palsy in his family home.
• He lives with his parents, older brother, and a friendly cockapoo, and is described by his family as a happy, cheeky “little tinker” with a lovable personality.
• Provide person-centred care, working alongside a colleague and a multidisciplinary team to support his wellbeing and community activities.
• An adapted vehicle is provided for outings.
• PEG management (nutrition, fluids, medications).
• Some personal care.

Skills and requirements

• Candidate would need to meet the following requirements before applying.
• A full UK driving licence.

Confirmed role details

• £13.50 per hour.
• Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of the role.
