Support Worker focuses on supporting students with additional care and learning needs during lessons and school activities.

What the role involves

• Supporting students with additional care and learning needs during lessons and school activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Assisting students with daily routines and classroom engagement.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
• Supporting students’ emotional wellbeing and social development.
• Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Skills and requirements

• Experience working with children, young people, or individuals with additional needs is desirable.
• Caring, patient, and supportive approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Support work, or education experience is beneficial.

Confirmed role details

• £92 – £115 per day (depending on experience).
• Long Term, Full-time.
