Casual Early Years Educator focuses on support lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role.

What the role involves

• Support lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role.
• Work with teachers, children, learners, families, or colleagues to keep progress and safety on track.

Skills and requirements

• Level 2 or 3 qualification within early years preferred, however unqualified Educators will also be considered if you can demonstrate the necessary values and enthusiasm for workin.
• Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5, is advantageous.
• Rates of .50 -£13.28 – qualified Educators – dependent on qualifications and experience.
• From £8.60 - £11.44 – unqualified Educators – as per NMW age rate and demonstrable skills and experience.

Confirmed role details

• Be providing cover as and when needed by the Nursery for periods of holiday, sickness, and supporting with vacancy gaps.
