What the role involves

  • Category Manager focuses on the category manager will develop and implement sourcing strategies across our wafer to chip supply chain to aid in the manufacture of ont products.
  • Will focus on reducing risk, improving service levels and reducing cost in the supply chain.
  • Reporting to the Associate Director - Direct Procurement, the successful candidate will.
  • Run procurement processes including contracts management and RFI/RFQ process to ensure purchasing at the best price for products and services without sacrificing quality or deliver.
  • Monitoring commodity trends and product availability.
  • Managing supplier relationships and performance management across risk, quality, service and cost.

Skills and requirements

  • Someone who has several years procurement/purchasing/supply chain experience in any field.
  • Enthusiasm and experience in managing multiple stakeholders.

Confirmed role details

  • Knowledge of wafer fabrication, PCBA manufacturing or micro-electronics would be of benefit.
