• Maintain sourcing commodity strategy in line with the global procurement strategy.
• Perform all sourcing actions with excellent knowledge on product, supply market, its players and contracting techniques.
• Develop and optimally manage sources of supplies in order to minimize supply risk and total cost of ownership. Familiar with issuing bid requests and reviewing quotations.
• Full ownership (on all levels and subjects) of the relationship between Barco and the supplier. Supplier KPI performance management.
• Ensure availability of supplier technology roadmaps for key product groups.
• Engage a close co-operation with R&D and Product mgt.
