Causation File Handler

The Causation File Handler position centres on supporting staff handling a caseload of litigated RTA Causation files under Delegated Authority on behalf of a cross section of insurance clients. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Good client care skills and evidence of working to client guidelines. Care – 24/7 online GP, mental health support and virtual wellbeing covering a whole host of topics to do with health, mental health, wellbeing & healthy living and financial & lega.

Where the technical work sits

• Support staff handling a caseload of litigated RTA Causation files under Delegated Authority on behalf of a cross section of insurance clients.
• It will be the responsibility of the DA Causation File Handler to handle suspected causation cases from the point of litigation through to the resolution of the case.
• Detailed review and analysis of evidence throughout the life of the case.

Technical requirements

• Experience in civil litigation claims handling.
• As a legal File Handler or suitably qualified (ILEX, LPC etc.).
• Experience of time recording and billing systems.

Practical details

• Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.
• Davies Incentive Plan.
• 25 days holiday per year which increases with level of service (opportunity to buy & sell 3 days).
