What the role involves

  • Analysing manufacturing challenges, implement solutions, and introduce new techniques or technologies as needed.
  • Develop, refine, and implement manufacturing processes for pouch cell battery fabrication process to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Act as a technical lead, mentoring technicians and junior staff while supporting the CTO with day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal protocols.

Skills and requirements

  • A degree in Science, Engineering, Materials or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in pouch cell battery fabrication within industry or academia is required.

Candidate fit

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex processes and identify improvements.
