The role

As a Change Delivery Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of delivering critical engineering upgrades and modifications to Royal Navy submarines. This is your opportunity to step into a dynamic, hands-on project management role where your work directly supports national defence and maritime safety.

Day-to-day you’ll be required to:

  • Provide engineering support to resolve technical and resourcing issues during project delivery.
  • Lead and coordinate installation activities, ensuring all pre-installation requirements are in place.
  • Monitor progress, track costs and hours, and report on project performance.
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety and contractor control policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices.

    • This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Thursday and is based on site at HMNB Clyde Faslane.

    Essential experience of the Change Delivery Engineer

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment such as mechanical, marine, or nuclear engineering.
  • Familiarity with maintenance planning and project delivery processes.
  • Knowledge of ship systems maintenance and installation procedures.

    • Qualifications for the Change Delivery Engineer

  • Ideally, you’ll hold an HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, but equivalent experience is just as valuable.

    • Security Clearance

    The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
