Child And Family Worker focuses on support one of our clients, working directly with children and families to provide practical support and safe, high?quality contact supervision.

What the role involves

  • Support one of our clients, working directly with children and families to provide practical support and safe, high?quality contact supervision.
  • Work with families facing a range of challenges, offering structured support, supervising Family Time sessions, and ensuring children remain safe, supported, and able to thrive.
  • Supervise Family Time sessions to ensure safe and positive contact.
  • Provide direct support to children and families in community or home settings.
  • Build professional relationships with parents, carers, and young people.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contribute to support plans.

Skills and requirements

  • Experience working with children and families in a social care or related setting.
  • Desirable experience in Family Time/contact supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle or suitable mobility support.

Confirmed role details

  • 3 months with a view to extend to an ongoing contract.
  • 37 hours per week.
