Child Care Officer/Support Worker
Job description
This Care Assistant opportunity is built around providing quality care for children in a residential setting. It would suit someone who can bring the right candidate will need to be confident with de-escalation strategies, tough and know how to handle challenging behaviours to the role.
Where the work sits
This role is for a Residential school, supporting specialist students who have Social/ Emotional/ Mental Health needs from the ages of 5- 11 years. Are you passionate about working with vulnerable children who have special needs?
How the role works day to day
Providing quality care for children in a residential setting. Assisting in developing and implementing care plans for each child, ensuring their physical, therapeutic, emotional, and social needs are met. Working with parents, guardians, and other professionals involved in the child's care to ensure a comprehensive approach to their well-being.

Practical details
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- Tuesday & Wednesday 07:00 - 09:30, returning at 14:30 - 21:00.
- Thursday 07:00 - 09:30, returning at 14:30 - 21:00.
