We aim to promote stability, resilience, and positive outcomes for the young people we support.

The Role
We are seeking Children’s Support Workers to provide consistent, compassionate care and practical support to children and young people. This is a varied role requiring flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver trauma-informed care to ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people
  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships
  • Support daily routines, independence, and life skills development
  • Assist with education, appointments, and recreational activities
  • Prepare meals and promote healthy living
  • Advocate for the needs and emotional wellbeing of young people
  • Transport young people to appointments and activities (use of own vehicle required)

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and emotional resilience
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check

A relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care) is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rates: £17.50–£24.00 (PAYE, including holiday pay) or £20.00–£28.00 (Umbrella)
  • Comprehensive training programme, including safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour support
  • Opportunities for career progression
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Company pension scheme
  • Referral bonus scheme
  • Ongoing support within a professional, values-driven organisation

If you are committed to making a positive impact and supporting young people to achieve better outcomes, we encourage you to apply.

Safeguarding Commitment:
This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to working with vulnerable young people. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is at the heart of everything we do, and all applicants must share this commitment.
