Children In Our Care Social Worker

Northamptonshire Children’s Trust is looking for a Children In Our Care Social Worker, with the role focused on children subject to legal proceedings as well as children with a plan to remain long term in our care. It would suit someone who can bring be conducting clear, accurate assessments, coordinating multi-agency approaches, and building positive relationships to the role.

Care and support involved

Children subject to legal proceedings as well as children with a plan to remain long term in our care. We focus on building meaningful relationships with young people, their families and their carers to ensure that we plan effectively for the future of every child. Health Assured is available for you and your immediate family members, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and includes telephone counselling, legal advice, bereavement.

Care skills and requirements

• Be an experienced qualified, registered social worker, who has completed your ASYE and have the commitment and passion to be at the forefront of delivering best practice.
• This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate.
