Children’s Registered Manager

This Children's Registered Manager role is focused on providing full operational and strategic leadership across the children’s residential home. It would suit someone who can bring ensure the service operates in line with all regulatory expectations while also creating a positive culture for both young people and staff to the role.

Role overview

Overseeing safeguarding practice, incident management, behavioural support, and risk reduction. Develop strong partnerships with local authorities, commissioners, therapists, education teams, and families.

Care and support involved

Provide full operational and strategic leadership across the children’s residential home. Ensure the home consistently meets Children’s Homes Regulations , Quality Standards , and safeguarding expectations. Leading on referrals, placement decisions, admissions, and matching to ensure the right environment for each child.

Care skills and requirements

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services , or equivalent.
• Strong management experience within a regulated children’s residential setting.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and children’s residential legislation.

Job details

• £55,000 - £70,000 salary.
• Pay: £55,000 - £70,000.
